Class of 1955 4th Grade Photo
Wayne says, "Can anyone identify all the children in Mrs. Jones 4th grade class?
In looking at this photo again, I recall that Naomi Grunden (Howell) was not only one of the prettiest girls in the class, but in grade school, she could run faster than any boy in the school.
Well, I must say that the girls in your class were quite better looking than the bunch of "uglies" of the opposite sex.
You always had an eye for beauty and it's not difficult to understand your observation of speedy Naomi Grunden (Howell). It probably was fortuitous (for her) that she could run so fast being in a class with that group of boys.
Yes, I always did have an eye for beauty. Although I could not get as many girls in my retinue as Gary, the few girls I did date were the very best looking in the area, which included Dexter.
What in the world happened here. Everybody looks like their dog just died. I don't recognize some of the people. Does anyone know all of them? I do remember Mrs. Jones. She was a no nonsense type of person and didn't like it when kids threw spitballs at each other while her back was turned. She must have had eyes in the back of her head because she always caught me.

I can ID most of the kids, but two of the girls on the top row and two girls on the bottom don't look familiar?????

I guess all the boys thought she was pretty. But even the girls liked her, which spoke more for her than her looks.
