Hooser

This comment just came in and I thought it should be posted more prominently.

I am the grand nephew of Mike and Brady Meldrum and am currently in the process of developing a plan to restore Hooser. Does anyone have old photos? Old stories? Anything at all would be appreciated!

Mark, sorry no one has posted a reply. I hope that they have sent you some info and stories, etc. via e-mail. You can also try the "Search this Blog" window on the main page of this blog for Hooser, Hoosier, etc.

I remember going to Hooser with my mother in 1944, 1945 and/or 1946 to feed lunch to the cowboys from the Mills Ranch on Otter Creek. They drove cattle from our pastures north and east of Hooser to the railroad to be shipped.

Let me know if I can help. I am one of the administrators of this blog. Thanks for your interest.
