I see from a story in the Wichita Eagle from Wed., Aug. 17, that about 150 people had to leave their homes in Cedar Vale for a couple of days because gasoline leaked into the sever system. Apparently all is OK now. It also says that the population is down to "around 500".
This will likely not be news to locals, but most of us are located outside of the area. Thanks to Jim Hubbard for sending me the link.

Thanks Jay D. for that news. Indeed, most of us live out of ear-shot of the old burg. 500 people seems about right.
Hey Don, what can you tell us about this event? Did you have to leave your home? Inquiring minds want to know!
